Kvale, a public financial planning speaker for local non profit and business groups, is an avid charity volunteer, co-author of an investment update and financial planning newsletter, and expert voice in many public media outlets. Kvale lives in Dallas with his wife Pamela and daughter Sophia and enjoys, golf, running and outdoor sports.

Robert Bultler serves clients in Texas and throughout the Mid-West providing them with third-party independent research. Prior to moving to Dallas, Robert lived in Arizona and is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a double major in finance and accounting. Robert’s experience in Arizona included real estate acquisitions, corporate/strategic planning, equity analysis, and asset allocation for high-net worth individuals. He earned the CFA designation in 2004 and also holds the CFM & CMA designations from the Institute of Management Accountants.

Ms. Finley joined Westwood in 1995, and currently serves as Vice President, Marketing & Client Service where she is responsible for development of investment consultant relationships and service of Westwood's institutional clients.  Ms. Finley has over 20 years financial services industry experience within the registered investment advisory, brokerage and trust areas.  She graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington in 1988 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.  She is a Registered Securities Representative, Principal and Financial and Operations Principal (FINRA Series 7, 24 and 27).  Ms. Finley was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2003, and has been active with the CFA Society of Dallas-Fort Worth since that time.


Florence Huang, CFA

Florence Huang is a Senior Research Analyst with Luminant Energy, supporting financial trading of natural gas.  Her responsibilities include researching macro economic factors, performing intelligence analysis on fundamental natural gas market through model calibrating, building supply outlook and price projections, the result of which would be applied to corporate decision making regarding cross commodity hedging and asset evaluation.  Prior to Luminant Energy, she was a Commodity Structurer with Sempra Energy between 2005 and 2007, where she structured the electricity products and closed multi million dollar deals for industry and commercial clients through option-embedded structured transactions.  Ms. Huang was a Senior Analyst in Risk Oversight with American Electric Power between 2001 and 2003, where she managed proprietary trading portfolio risk of various energy commodities, and endorsed long term derivative contracts related to power purchase agreement.  Ms. Huang started her energy career as an Associate of Strategy and Valuation with Coral Energy (subsidiary of Shell) in 1998, during which time she was primarily involved in the merger & acquisition analysis for power generation assets.  Ms. Huang received her MBA from C.T.BauerCollege of Business at University of Houston in 1998 and her BBA from Finance and Banking Institute of China in Beijing.  Ms. Huang is an active member of varies professional associations.  She is a FRM (Financial Risk Manager-Certified by GARP, November 2003) and CFA charter holder.

David joined Verde Apartments as Director of Finance in June 2008, and is involved with financial planning, financing, reporting and special projects.  Prior to joining Verde, he was Finance Manager for Granite Properties where he was involved with financial structuring of debt and equity instruments from underwriting through papering, interest rate hedging, financial modeling and projections, performance benchmarking, credit and special projects.  Prior to joining Granite in 1998, he spent five years with Paragon Group where he was involved with its initial public offering.  He started his career with BDO Seidman as an auditor.  David earned a degree in accounting from University of North Texas, is a Certified Public Accountant and is a CFA charter holder.  He is active with the National MS Society (MS150 Bike Tour), National Council of Real Estate Investment Fiduciaries (NCREIF) and has volunteered with the CFA Society of DFW since 1998. 


Cassaundra Frost, CFA, CIMA, CAIA

Ms. Frost joined Bank of Texas as a Portfolio Manager in 2008. Prior to joining BOTX, Cassaundra was a portfolio manager for Bank of America, where she managed over 250 relationships. In addition, her background includes experience in investment management consulting and credit analysis. Cassaundra holds a Master of Business Administration degree, with a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance. She has received the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), and the Certified Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations. She has served locally at the board level of the CFA Society of Oklahoma and CFA Society of Dallas-Fort Worth; and nationally, as a grader for the CFA exam. Additionally, she currently serves CFA Institute as a member of the Disciplinary Review Committee for ethics. Cassaundra is an active member of the Investment Management Consultants Association.

Mrs. Pryor joined Smith Group Asset Management in April 1998 and is a member of the Portfolio Management team. Prior to joining the company, she was a Trading Associate for Bell Fundamental Futures, L.L.C., in Memphis, TN. She earned a BS in Accounting from the University of Mississippi. She was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2001. Mrs. Pryor is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Dallas-Ft. Worth.

David is Partner and Head of Fixed Income investments for FCM Investments, an independent investment management firm for high net worth investors and private foundations.  He is responsible for portfolio management, fund construction, and overseeing strategic asset allocation.  Before joining FCM in 1999, Mr. Lewis worked for ten years at American Airlines and three years at Citigroup.  He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas and earned an MBA from Southern Methodist University.  He has been active in the local CFA Society since earning his CFA designation in 1999.

   Julia Cunningham joined Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP in 2000 where she currently serves as Information 
   Manager for the Mid America region of the U.S. Deloitte Financial Advisory Services helps clients with various financial efforts including valuing assets, estimating lost profits, and investigating and resolving forensic accounting issues. Prior to joining Deloitte, Julia worked for American Airlines in a variety of capacities and as a consultant with Touche Ross in Dallas and Los Angeles. She earned her BA from Wellesley College and an MBA from the University of Texas. Julia has been active with the local society since 2000. She also serves as a volunteer on the CFA Institute Council of Examiners (COE) and has worked as a CFA exam grader.

Gary joined Luther King Capital Management in 1994.  He is a Principal, Portfolio Manager and is responsible for the firm's investments in the telecommunications industry.  Prior to joining LKCM, Gary worked with the Dexter Corporation in Connecticut and with Arthur Andersen in Dallas.  Gary earned a BBA from SMU and an MBA with honors from TCU.  He has been an adjunct professor at TCU, teaching Securities Analysis at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and was a founding member of TCU's MBA Alumni Advisory Board.  Gary is a Trustees at Cook Children's Hospital and is a member of SMU's Buy-Side Club Advisory Board.  He has been active with the local society since earning his CFA designation in 1997.

Prior to joining JPM, he was involved with Institutional Sales with Montreal Trust in Calgary, Canada (1990-1994) and practiced law in the Corporate Finance area with a prominent Calgary law firm (1985-1990). Lyndon holds an economics degree from the University of Calgary and a law degree from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. He has held various volunteer positions with the local society since achieving his CFA designation in 1997 and enjoys coaching his children's sports teams.

He has been active in the local CFA Society for many years and is active in several not-for-profit organizations.

Dave is Vice President of Curriculum for Schweser Study Program and Director of the Koppel & Wiley CFA review courses in Europe and the Study Seminar for Financial Analysts (SSFA) at the University of Windsor.  He is a former partner with Koppel & Wiley and Excel Exam Review before these companies were acquired by Schweser Study Program, a Kaplan Professional Company.  He helps create, develop and write content for Schweser. Dave received an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in 1982, and was awarded the CFA designation in 1986.  Dave founded and has directed CFAS-DFW's Weekly CFA Review Course and Study Program since its inception in 1989.
