CFA/DFW Membership

The role of the Membership Committee of the CFA Society Dallas/Fort Worth is to develop and implement an action plan for membership growth and enhancement.  To be an active and vibrant CFA Society we must recruit candidates and retain current members.  The Membership Committee seeks to actively engage the membership in areas of career development, mentorship, and  leadership opportunities.  Responsibilities of the Membership Committee include:

  • Understand the needs and satisfaction of society members through periodic member surveys
  • Energize current society members to understand and promote the value of the CFA Charter to prospective CFA candidates
  • Provide opportunities to develop leadership skills through volunteer participation
  • Development and maintain an active mentorship program
  • Approve CFA Society Dallas/Fort Worth membership applications

The Membership Committee is comprised of four sub-committees as follows:

  1. Volunteers – Identify opportunities for active participation in Society programming and leadership
  2. Careers – Provide career development opportunities in conjunction with the Programs Committee
  3. Mentoring – Create the opportunity for both new and experienced Society members to engage in dialogue through a mentor/mentee relationship
  4. Candidate Rush – Recruit, support and celebrate candidate’s pursuit of the CFA Charter
